Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of legal consent for data collection in your jurisdiction if higher, to use Wizo. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

You can access Wizo using Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or Guest mode, depending on platform availability. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the device and third-party account used to access Wizo, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Guest mode data is stored locally on your device and may be lost if you uninstall the app or switch devices unless you enable cloud sync.

3. The Service

Wizo is a personal finance tool that helps you track income and expenses, manage budgets and savings goals, monitor loans and EMIs, and understand your spending through summaries and insights, including features that use AI to help you log transactions faster, such as receipt scanning and quick entry.

4. Not Financial, Investment, or Tax Advice

Wizo is an informational and organizational tool. It is not a bank, financial institution, broker, or licensed financial advisor, and nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Insights, summaries, and your Financial Health Score are generated from the information you provide and are for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions, and we recommend consulting a qualified professional before making significant financial decisions.

5. Accuracy of Information

Wizo's calculations, summaries, and AI-generated entries (including receipt scanning results) are based on the data you provide and automated processing that may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any transaction, balance, or entry before relying on it.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as permitted by law;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; or
• Use automated means to access the Service without our permission.

7. Subscriptions and Purchases

Wizo may offer free features as well as optional paid features or subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Any purchases are subject to the payment terms, refund policies, and account settings of the applicable app store, in addition to these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, graphics, and the Wizo name and logo, is owned by Loomchip and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

9. Your Content

You retain ownership of the financial data, receipts, and other content you enter into Wizo ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services, such as Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, and app store platforms. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services, which are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users, with notice where reasonably practicable.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated entries or insights will be accurate or complete.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Loomchip will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or financial loss, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Loomchip harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by the mandatory law of your country of residence.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the app or by other means. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
